  1. Hockey on any level is good.

  2. It totally depends on where you are in North America. In Calgary there is Junior A Tier 1 (WHL), Junior A Tier 2 (AJHL), Junior B (CJHL), and Junior C is community hockey which is kinda like house for 18-20 year olds. Out east Junior C is much better hockey, but out west Junior C is just recreational.

The great lakes league would be comparable to the CJHL (Junior B) in Calgary. There are opportunities to play NCAA and cold be a stepping stone to Junior A. Chances of getting drafted to the NHL from that league are never. It would be made up mostly of underage Juniors that did not make a 'real' Midget AAA team but are too good for Midget AA.

  3. every level of junior has it story.Dont get hung up on the letters, top junior leagues have players who have achieved they goal,by given opportunties to compete to get thiers goals of education or to advance to higher level of play[nhl],,but nothing is more enteraining than two teams that are even in skills and desire, now that makes the game, not the letters of the league.....m

  4. It is a start ......3rd tier Junior team the equivlent of Junior Varsity at the Jr. Level.Any Jr. team is a great way to be "Showcased" and hopefully get looked at to get to that next level.
