  1. Keeping a journal is a good thing, I have been doing it for years.  One thing I would recommend is use it to ask yourself questions, write down 5 things you are grateful for every day, and use it to document your life's ups and downs, so you can tell what is working for you.  You may be amazed at what you discover.  Also, focus on the future and live every day, and remember ."its a privilege of a lifetime to be who you are."

  2. when i was 13 i did the whole journal thing, kept it kinda consistant till i was abou 15/16 i think. but then i got busy, and wasn't interested in writing anymore. but it is nice to look back and see how i thought back then and to see what was going on, remember things from back then.

    so i say, why not?

  3. i agree.

i keep a journal now and i'm in my twenties. it's just about making time for it. and i will say, it's nice looking back on all those memories. you will realize a lot of things about yourself after reading it a few years from now...and you'll see just how much you've grown.

it's also nice just to get your thoughts and feelings out on paper....its a good release of stress!

hope that helps! good luck writing!
