Is kendall a boy name or girl name?

i was just wondering because im trying to pick out a name for a girl that starts with a k and is different! i really like the name kendall for girl but not if its more of a boy name! thanks

it used to be a boy name but now people are taking boy names and making them girl names so im sure its a girl name now. i think it would be fine for both but when i see it i think girl

I think it is more a girl's name than a boy's name. Maybe if used as a boys middle name it would be cool, but as a girl's first name it is definitely adorable!

Technically, it's a unisex name. However, if I were to use it, I would give it to a girl, as it's more of a girly name now, because of its increased popularity among parents of girls. It's very seldom used for boys anymore, so giving it to a boy would be akin to naming a boy Ashley- at one time, it was a boys' name, but now, it's definitely a girl name. I'd say the same for Kendall :)

My baby sisters name is Olivia Kendall, so it sounds to me like a girl name.

If someone was talking about someone named kendall I would just assume it was a girl.

Most of the time --

Girls spelling : Kendall, Kendyl, Kyndal.
