  1. possibly due to high muslim population, u wouldnt know by tasting the chicken it tastes same its just the method of slaughter that is different, usually they have a sign if meat is halal, otherwise just ask or have a veggie burger but if ur really strict beware my hubbie aske d for this as he is muslim in uk and they just took the non halal chicken burger  out the bun and replaced with veggie one. not really acceptable to strict muslim.

  2. i don't think so .. restaurants are usually halal only in countries or cerain areas where there is a large request for it to be halal.. usually muslim poppulated countries or regions. i doubt the kfc there would be halal in general but there would be one or two special ones that are. you could enquire to find out.

  3. Of course. Even though it's an American cuisine the French appreciate it as much as we do.

  4. The only way to tell is to contact them or go and look for the halal sign. If it's not certified halal then the decision is yours, there shouldn't be any pork products used in the cooking process, but it varies from one muslim to another whether this is good enough for you.

And to the poster who said it all tastes the same, it doesn't, each country will modify the recipe slightly to cater for the regional tastes. Here in South East Asia, for example, they use less spices because the majority of people will eat the chicken with chili sauce.

  5. Not all kfc in paris are halal. i have confirmed and the KFC at strasbourg st denis is halal. To confirm just ask at the counter, normally if the food is halal they do show u a certificate for it

  6. don't think so

is still has the skin on

Plus they eat any bugs that come their way,, along with any dead meat,,  even dung ,,..

PS I have never seen a post here to the web page of the koran on food handling ..

    ☺ ??? too violent a book..

  7. what you mean ritually slaughtered in a barbaric in humane manner...

    why don'[t you ask KFC

accorinding to the KFC site see below, they do not support the ritual slaughter of Chicken.. whether KFC France do I don't know. Id expect them to announce it loud and proud if they did.. and if they did people like me would not buy form them ever again. its the same argument over Kosher.... the slaughter process is inhumane, and indefencable in a country which purports to impose animal welfare standards on the the production of animal derived protein.

  8. I doubt it very much!

  9. It's the same either way... if you like it, eat it.

  10. I doubt it. Before the trans fat ban KFC in the US used lard to fry their chicken, so that makes it not halal and not kosher by default, regardless of what kind of chicken they use.

I'm not sure if they still use lard in Europe, but I won't be surprised if they did.
