  1. Only if you drop the encyclopedia on your foot.

  2. the more you know, the more you understand, the more you realise good and bad, the more you realise not all is good, the more you realise not all is bad, the more you realise there is good in everyone.

so it depends - on what the knowledge is

  3. It might be painful, if you are a failure.

  4. The more you know the dumber you feel.

  5. knowledge is very dangerous. since it is, it can also be painful.

  6. Sometimes, but then I look at the blind saps who have no idea what is really going on.

Its sad really what this world has come to...

  7. ignorance is bliss

what it boils down to is awareness.

ultimately,we identify the human condition, and we realize it is our responsibility to serve.

that is a heavy burden, so most folks dont go there.

  8. Human beings are flawed...we go on quests to find the truth and want to learn more but oftern, when we do, we regret ever trying. Knowledge isn't painful - the consequences of such knowledge is painful when it negatively affects us.

  9. Well; Sure !?! It can be !?!  for instance  You might find out much about a certain person,place,thing,situation.. that you may not've wanted to find out!?! Which could turn out to be a truly painful experience !!.    r R r

  10. Yes and no. With knowledge comes power, but also great responsibility, especially to yourself.

  11. Yes.

Ecclesiastes 1:18:  "In much wisdom is much grief; and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow."

  12. for me no but sometimes yes because you feel discomfortable if you are memorizing too many things because it makes your head ache

  13. Knowledge is painful as long as you try to hold it back. Just share it. Give it away, spread it.

Its painful when you start thinking that its yours. when you become arrogant. If you take care of these things it wont be painful.

and "the more you know the more you discomfort" .. I am afraid, i am not agree with this as its half true. Knowledge is just a learning. and people feel discomfertable unless they know the depth of that particular subject. Once you know the root, bottom, depth of a subject then you do not feel uncomfortable.

  14. Depending on your level of self control.

I think the more you know, the greater the fear. And if the fear has become greater, then the less the objective you are most likely to be and if that happens, then you become confused, hence pain.

On the other hand, more knowledge may just open up your closed channels or eyes, hence you begin to see what you used not to see.

    Thanks for asking dear

  15. The truth can be painful . Knowledge is needed to separate the pain and the truth .

  16. i use to feel like that...

why are things not the same as when i was a child of approx 7-14......the world seemed so simple...

the more in life you experience there will be a little bit of discomfort..

but thnakfully after a while it turns to enlightenment. and power...

and can mybe make one more wiser and even distinguished looking...

    i hope :)

  17. I believe so, the more you know about things such as the tragedies happening every second of everyday knowing you can't do anything can be very distressing.

Intelligence wise, sometimes you can feel that we know too much and this can be an indirect cause of other unfortunate events, i guess the more you know the more things can affect you.

Well i may have misinterpreted your question, but i think less knowledge can sometimes be a blessing.  Sometimes you have to admit that the simple life looks so much easier.  With a smaller capacity you can't be affected as much can you?

  18. Depends on who u are...

  19. It can be, but wisdom ALWAYS is.

  20. Knowledge may be painful, or as they say, Ignorance is Bliss

You can't win either way !

    :-P

Just try and educate yourself the best way you can, but I believe that life experience is just as important as anything learned via textbooks

    All The Best

    :-)

  21. It all depends on how u feel.
