Question:

Is kobe just looking for attention again by saying he'll leave the lakers to go overseas

Didn't he already threaten to leave the lakers twice before. First, when he ran shaq off the team and then last summer when he ripped bynum and demanded a trade. After catering to his every whim and trading for pau gasol to build a contender, the least kobe can do is show some loyalty. Sure it's $50 million, but kobe already has over $100 million, so he might never even use all that extra money in his lifetime. It's not like he'll end up begging on the streets if he doesn't take more money to play against lesser competition overseas.

  1. He probably once his family set for life.  And to live his lifestyle you need lots of income and he won't play basketball forever.  So a nice payday to keep his family set is what he is thinking about.

  2. Is Kobe looking for attention? No, I think he likes having options. Laker management will probably call his bluff after this season, allowing him to go to Europe, creating cap space. This isn't a bad thing. Sometimes players overstay their welcome. Fans get fatiqued. Franchises need to move forward. Oh yeah, the Lakers are there.

  3. wtf o h**l no that ****** not leaving the lakers fck the lakers need tht ***** he aint gonn leavr the lakers hes saying that to make the players on his team try even mre harder thats what has been happening these last 2 years he has it all planned out and up in his head he knows whats right and leaving the laers isnt it because he knows they are contenders for the championship ckuz they brung in that chinese guy wich is getting better and improving and kobe sent that chinese guy a message and its saying if your onna play for the lakers you better try harder then what your used to!

and kobe will always be called the best in my vocabulary definition of best= kobe bryant

  4. i agree wit u kobe is a attention grabber but nothing gets to the kobe fans...

  5. kobe is,but not james or wade.they play because they luv the game, kobe plays 4 the popularity so my answer is yea of course!!

  6. If someone ask him a question then hes going to answer it,, if he offer the chance to make more money, and the media wants to cover, it that  has nothing to do with Kobe,, why would he be looking for attention,, why is it that you haters always got to find something wrong with him all the time,,,, and you wouldn't know how it is en less you were in his shoes,,if someone offer you the money you would go to so stop talking like you are really concern because if your hating on him than why you care what he does,,

  7. so did lebron... so did wade...

it was a simple question asked to them. would they consider going overseas for two season a 50mil a year.

and all of the mentioned players said they would consider it.

your looking waaaaay too much into it.

  8. Well...

We have a saying back in Romania.

"Omu zice, dar uneori nu o face"

"Person says something, yet sometimes they don't do it"

It's just a consideration. I think he is just confused.

I hope he won't leave, but I know he won't.

  9. LeBron and dwyane wade said that same thing and people go off saying **** about kobe. Why does everyone attack him? Anyway i don't think it's an attention grabber. He loves money. Why play here for around 13 million(after taxes) when he can make 50 million in a shorter season and have no taxes to worry about. I would do that if I was offered.

  10. It was a hypothetical situation that some reporter asked him about. He never said he seriously considered going to play overseas.Don't be stupid.

  11. no he said he would consider the option if it was the right thing to do

  12. its just publicity

  13. really? did kobe said that?

    i thought lebron did.

and lebron dont deny that he will leave the cavs come 2010 to go to the bronx as early as now.
