Question:

Is kung fu panda scary?

I was thinking of taking my son to see Kung-fu panda for his second birthday. It'll be his first real trip to the move theater and he has a good attention span and isn't scared of the dark. But a friend told me that the bad guy is pretty scary and might be too much for a two year old. What did you think of it?

  1. Take him to go see Disney's Wall-E. Kung Fu panda has a couple scary parts.

  2. I took my daughter and she was not scared but certain parts of Happy Feet scared her (when the penguins were being attacked)

I think it really depends on the child though

  3. No not at all the bad guy isnt scary at all and probably wont be scary to a 2 year old

  4. www.kids-in-mind.com

A GREAT GREAT website for checking out the content of a movie.

Personally, I think that 2 is generally a little young for any movie at a movie theater, but definetely for a PG rated movie.

If you really want to take him to the theater and think he would enjoy it, I'd take someone else's suggestion and take him to see Wall-E. It's rated G.

  5. I took my son who turned two in March, and I had to take him out of the theater twice because he was scared. He loved the funny parts, but the "bad guy" was too much for him. I'd let him see it again, but not the parts with the villain.

  6. No, I took a 5 and 4 year old to see it and they just loved it!

  7. Ummm i went to see kung fu panda and it is a really cute movie but once the bad guy gets there i might turn scary for a 2 year old

  8. if your son is only truning 2 years old its not even worth going to the movies.

    think.

more than one hour for a movie

    loud

    think.

    no.

  9. It was adorable!!  I don't think it would be scary at all.  My husband and I saw it a week or so ago (we don't even have children), but the bursts of laughs from the kids was intoxicating.  So cute!  My only suggestion is that if your child acts up and start crying incessantly, please leave the room for the sake of the other patrons.  Best of luck!

  10. My 3 and 6 year ld loved it. I've never seen my 3 year old sit through a whole movie until this one.

  11. i saw that movie with my little cousins. it's cute and funny but i highly doubt a 2 year old will understand it. it also may be a little to scary for him, there is alot of action and violence. The characters are also very scary looking and mean. i wouldn't recommend it for a 2 year old child, but thats me.

    goodluck(:
