  1. No.  There are plenty of kids w/ lack of joy.  Just a sign of you need to get moving.

  2. no i do not think so its hard to find an old man who kills him

i think the lack of joy comrs to youth more than old people

  3. Not necessarily so.  Although in a persons' senior years, it could definately add a negative input to their mental state.

Lack of joy is not an automatic symptom of getting old.  Nor is it a sign of old age.  Take a look around you.  There are people of all ages experienceing the lack of joy.  Not all of them are old.  Physically!

Now I will semi-contradict my own words.  Lack of joy alone doesn't age you.  Time does that.  But without joy, misery will mentally age you until you're old and bitter inside, even at a young age.

So your answer is;  In the hardcore definition of getting old, no.  It is not a sign.  In the powerful world of the mental state, it is also not a sign of getting old.  But it is a step in that direction.  And it can age you before your time.

So don't fall victim to it.  Put a smile on your face and get out there and enjoy your life.  And if you see somebody who doesn't feel it, put a little joy into their lives too.

So what are you waiting for?  Go have fun!!!

  4. i think so

  5. I don't believe so. I believe it is something you can let go of, over time, and therefore lose sight of what ever gave you joy. As a kid it was legos and play dough....now it's stress at work, car payments, or a bunch of  other new responsibilities...so we don't seem to make time for happiness anymore.

You can still find joy....in the people you love, the things you care about doing. I think the older we get, the more we just need more objects to feel joy ABOUT...when as a younger being, it came naturally in every bright color and every new experience.

  6. It probably depends on the person, but for many, especially if they have regrets about their past, it can be...

  7. Lack of joy is more likely to be from getting stuck in a rut and believing there are no alternatives. Or a symptom of depression. I worked with a couple who both retired from their jobs and they were always on the go, they acted like two teenagers who just met and fell in love. Their grown grandchildren thought it was so sweet the way they were.

  8. This is completely dependent on the person you're studying, and their own expectations. Of course as time passes, you notice what didn't happen that you wanted, that's called 20/20 hind-sight vision, but sometimes, you, as you grow up, find yourself ready, really ready, and inspired by something that you're able to accomplish ONLY because you're mature enough to work your way through it. People sabotage their youth a lot by thinking too much about how they'll be when they're old, and some others feel like they'll be young forever, and find themselves 45, alone, with no future. So we all have talents, and chance plays us all, but you have to know that if you lack joy, your age doesn't matter, your mind is responsible. I like your question, it's interesting, and I'd like to talk more about it....

  9. I do not think so, I think it comes from being surrounded by the same old routine and people that have given up on life in general and refuse to step outside their moralistic boundaries and search for something new and alive.
