  2. The US is not the only country that plays lacrosse.  It is played in Canada, Australia and England to name a few other countries.  There is also a push for it to become an Olympic sport.

  6. Not anymore, it was held in 1904 and 1908, then demonstration events were held in 1928, 1932, and 1948. Only the US, the UK and Canada competed.

  7. Not recently.  Lacrosse was contested as a medal sport in the 1928 and 1932 Olympics. On both occasions, rather than holding tryouts and sending an All-star amalgamation, the U.S. chose to be represented by the Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays.
