  1. If you are vegan, no, because it still comes from the cow.

Vegetarians only avoid meat, so any kind of milk would be fine.

  2. yes not for vegans though

  3. Actually, as veal is the main by product from the dairy industry, no milk is suitable for vegetarians as calfs DO die to produce it.

  4. It's still regular milk, just with an enzyme added which is needed by those who are lactose intolerant.

I don't like it because I find it sweet.

So Good is my fave soy milk.

  5. if your a vegan you should drink silk or any type of soy milk.

if your a vegetarian you can really drink any type of milk you please. Vegetarians avoid meat not milk

  6. All milk is suitable for vegetarians..

It's vegans who don't eat anything.

  7. Lactose is an enzyme naturally found in milk.  Lactose-free milk has that enzyme removed.  Both are fine for vegetarians.

  8. Do you mean lactose-free milk? Like regular milk, yes it is. The enzyme used comes from fungi.

  9. All milk is suitable for vegetarians because an animal didn't have to be killed for it to be produced. Vegetarians don't eat meat etc. Milk from an animal is not suitable for vegans, however, because they do not consume any animal products.

  10. Yes, don't confused vegans for vegetarians. I myself am a veggie, but not a vegan. Veggies do not believe in the killing of animals for consumption or any other consumerism. And yes, that includes leather, it's not a by-product! Vegans do not believe animals should be used atall for consumption, this includes milk, even though no animal died in the process of milk production (for humans) they just believe it's cruel to use animals.

  11. yer it is - x

  12. Yes. Milk is suitable for vegetarians because it doesn't involved the death of the animal. Having said that it could be argued that milk from factory farms isn't suitable because the cows often suffer from over milking and bad living conditions. Free range is the best. Make sure it says free range on the bottle because if it doesn't then avoid it at all costs.

  13. Yes it is fine as it is not meat.

If you are a vegan then yes because it does come form a cow.
