  1. Supposedly from what I read on the internet its pretty risky, and irreversible eye damage could occur

  2. i've know 2 people who've had it done.  on was 19 when he did it and hes 22 now.  he never had any complications, but his eyesight wasnt very bad it all.  he just had it cause the miliary made him.  my mother had it done when she was in her early 50's.  her eyesight was terrible.  since then shes had a torn retina, and developed a catarct and has had 2 eye surgeries.  oh and she still doesnt have perfect vision.  Im scared to do it.

  3. It's a bad idea as serious complications can occur and your vision can still go bad after treatment which is often expensive and not worth the money.

  4. Well, I live in the United States and lasik eye surgery is very popular and very common here. I'm not sure what it costs in India, but here in the USA you can get Lasik eye surgery for about $500 per eye so about $1000 US dollars. Here is a website that tells you information about it. You can see if you are a canidate for it and yes, you should be specs-free after the surgery within a day actually! Good luck!

  5. I don't think so. Many friends of mine do laser correction because they want to join the military.

But actually its theory is to pare the cornea more thin to correct the diopter. That's kinda dangerous.

May now it is fine ,but many years ago,it may induce may terrible effect.

If it is perfect, then why most DOCTORS STILL WEAR GLASSES ?

So unless you have to do it, DON'T.

  6. yea my dad did it, and his eyesight was perfect. but after a few years it fades away again
