Is late Aug a good time to visit Puerto Rico?

I know it is hurricane season there, but my friend said it might still worth visiting since there is always rain there!!

Yea.  I went to Puerto Rico last year on a cruise.  I went on the cruise on August 28th and was in Puerto Rico on August 30th.  It is beatiful there.  There is a lot to do.  There are a lot of stores and shopping.  I went to San Juan.  There is a coach store and a dooney and bourke.  The prices there are much better too.  If you like jewelry, then you will love Puerto Rico because there are a lot of jewelry stores.  The weather was great.  It did rain a little when I was there but that didn't stop me from having a great time.  You will have a lot of fun.
