You will never know until you give it a try! I tried and can't play. My hubby plays and is in a a band. For him it's easy. Get an inexpensive guitar and try. if you do well, get a good guitar.

Since Taylor Swift is not all that good probably not to long if you practice. Now if you want to play really well you will need to practice everday and with in a year you can be playing like a pro..

It's not too hard if you have the right guitar. I have small hands, so it took me a while until I found a guitar that suited me.

honestly ive been playing for about 3.5 years and im not gona lie to ya...its hard...but on the plus side its the most addicting thing and its really fun.

as for the taylor swift part. playing her music...probably about 6 months if you work at it, shes not all that amazing (compared to stuff like steve vai or any of them) the one thing you have to keep in mind though is that shes a composer and you might not be able to wright music like her enless you take liek a theory class or something like that

well dont know who talor swift is but on average you can play a basic song after the first month.

After a year maybe quicker you could play real songs E.g. iron man by black sabbath is popular
