But it's really famous for being a great place for precambrian geology.  It's the main town in The Malvern Hills which is one of the FOUR outcrops of precambrian rock in England.  The others are Shropshire, Leicestershire, and Yorkshire, but the best is The Malverns : http://jncc.gov.uk/earthheritage/gcrdb/G...

Ledbury is a good place for a day trip. It has a few old pubs, a cattle market. There is also an old market hall on stilts in the centre of the village. Pleasant!
