Is life in most parts of the US like Laguna beach the TV show?

Do kids all over the US live their lives like those kids in Laguna Beach the TV show? Is even life in Laguna beach like the way they portray it on TV? Is Laguna a nice place to live in?

I noticed also that their accents are very different from Americans living in Nevada or NY. Do you think their accents are musical? lol Do you like their accents?

Most kids in America don't earn $100,000 an episode from their MTV reality shows, so I think it would be safe to assume that we don't act like they do. They don't even act like they do on TV - it's all incredibly fake.

No. The kids on LB come from rich and privleged families. The U.S. is a huge country, and not all kids in the U.S. come from wealthy families.  Plus they hold casting calls, and MTV pays them to be part of the show.

I've never noticed an accent on LB.

LB is in California, and the kids on LB use surfer lingo more- like calling the guys dude, and saying I am so stoked or that is so sick/gnarly, or like whatever bro.  Thats the only difference I notice in the way they talk. Usually, its the guys more than the girls.

I think a lot of teenagers are spoiled now. If you go to the fashion section of this site, people ask questions like, "OmG, my mom won't buy me three Marc Jacobs' purses for school? I want to die!?"

I think most people in the US don't live like they do in the OC though. I live in Ohio and we sure as heck don't act like that.

Laguna would probably be a nice place to live, if you could afford it. The beach is right there!

no, that is not how all of us live. I live in NY, and everyone from different states have a different accent. they are spoiled, and most of us, like 85% don't live that way
