Is life too short, too long, or just right?

If people live their lives to the full then its probably too short, however if people spend their lives being miserable and lazy they will be the ones who think life is too long. Most people seem to fluctuate between the two so it probably depends on where you are in your own life as to how you actually view life.

Mack, to each in their own time means that each life is right for the moment but those cut short may perhaps, have invented or provided something to the world that we all may miss. And although aging too long may be boring for some it also can be an opportunity to learn and grow wiser in the long run. So, what has the meaning of short, long or just right to do with the quality of your life?

Maybe it is just right.Most elderly people are ready and comfortable with it. I hope I have that dignity when its my time.

If you're sad and pessimistic, it's too long.

If you're realistic , it's just right.

Life is just right, any longer it would be annoying. You will be old and depressed if it was longer. If it was shorter, people would be afraid of death and wouldn't enjoy life.

sometimes it seems too short, but that's just because people waste their lives away, and then they get to be 80 and want to do everything...

It's just right. Our job isn't to predicate how long it is or how short it is. Our job is to live it. The good thing about it is we have a choice. Are we gonna waist it or not take it for granted. You see that's why it's just  right because we decide our lives and not nobody else. So if something goes wrong we are to blame. If we want to fix it OK if we don't it's still OK lol. So if you ask me life is JUST RIGHT!

based on our rate of reproduction, ability to adapt in a non-technological sense, basically in our animal sense, we evolved to have "just right" life spans.

now we have technology, we reproduce too much and live too long to remain in harmony with the natural world. in that sense it is too long.

in terms of experiencing life, the pleasure of living, it is too short. also if we lived longer we might care more about what happens to the world farther in the future, which would be a good thing, and the longer you live the more you learn, so if we lived longer we'd be wiser. in that sense it is too short also.
