Is limewire a safe site??

Question

ok so I was thnking about joining limewire but I've heard some really bad things about it like getting in trouble for downloading free music,etc. I just kinda want to know if it is safe to have cuz my computer just got a Virus and I had to erase my whole Ipod and I need to start over.I also dont want more virus's.Is there anymore sites that are safer of what? I just need information.Thankies!!

You should be cautious of viruses on certain websites always have a virus program installed on your computer to keep them out.  Also look for a private policy at the bottom and a title of ownership.

I wouldn't trust Limewire. On my old computer, I got a major virus on it the exact moment I downloaded Limewire.

Some files that you can download from limewire are viruses and set to control and key-log the computer of anyone who downloads Limewire. So that way when you go into your email, they can get your password and any other details, and with a few little details, they can do alot of things.

That is why I recommend checking reviews of stuff before you download stuff.

Limewire is safe and you cannot go to jail for downloadin music but its iiegal to download it and sell it like some ppl on the streets do. you can only use it for your personal use.

I have limewire and I love it. You may be succeptable to a virus though. It's your call.
