Is limewire safe?

Does limewirre give you any viruses or spam nonsense. Any problems or negative aspects, or is it 100% safe. Please tell me.

No its not a hundred percent safe but neither is browsing the Internet it can give you viruses etc but if you have a good ant virus or Internet security you should be fine also i think you know this already but limewire downloading of copyright material is illegal but if you dont care neither do I

if you have a good protection package, you should be okay. my AVG grisoft would catch any malware in the system.

it says its safe, but it makes my computer run slow. my virus scanners havent detected anything, but my computer started being really slow after i downloaded it.
