i think for sure that they are far more an overrated team than what many others think.

always buy 8-10 players every summer and out of which 6 would be on a free transfer and they sell half of their previously bought players..

and still they cannot win a title...

trying their luck in Cl, that's all they want..not the premier league..

i bet if this is their form..they will soon be KO from the Group stages..

not the Big FOUR anymore..it should be the Big 2 or 3..

  1. I agree, they need to improve on Premier league, not just Champions League.  But Liverpool is still very strong.

  2. yes they are..chelsea the best!

  3. They are extremely overrated. They can bag or scrape a win in the CL once they move their bootay but in the last three years it's without much class tbh. A lot of diving, a lot of c**p defending and anyways what is one CL in 20 years? Certaintly does not warrant the godly attributes their own fans give themselves. Psh to that

  4. They are riding on past glory.

  5. liverpool is a history

who cant solve their 18 years mystery

  6. Nope liverpool has won so many cups its unbelievable lately campared to manchester gaynited and chelsticals they cant beat them because their teams are stacked but any way liverpool is still a good team

  7. Yes, when compared to Manchester United, Arsenal and though they are by no means my favourite team, Chelsea:  It's like comparing cotton with silk.

    Edit:

I like that.  It's an even better analogy.

    Conor O:

Liverpoof have won so many cups "recently" compared to MU and Chelsea?  ROTFLMFAO!!

By the way:  It's not against community rules to look into open files like yours.  Why not say that you are an American, which is why you probably know nothing about football; who is stirring the pot?  Indeed:  One that gives out abuse to thirteen year old girls asking about Yahoo messenger.

You could have been kinder, but the abusive way you dissed our clubs shows that you are an uncivilised person.

You could have been nicer.  What a piece of work you are!

You are probably a 48 year old man that wants to meet boys is not at all an appropriate response, in anyway whatsoever.

  8. I'm going to say no, Liverpool is not an overrated team Everyone has there knives out for Liverpool tonight, but it doesn't matter a win is a win however you look at it.

  9. Only if Liverpool consistently failed to make the top four would I agree to that.

If you look at their squad you'd have a hard time convincing me they're down there with Everton, Blackburn etc.

Big two or three is a nonsense idea as there is consistently a clear gap between the top four and the rest. It's only people aiming to create a stir that say that.

It's also interesting to note that bookies and gambling agencies still offer people betting on Liverpool miniscule odds for backing them in most of their matches. If they were so overrated I am sure the bookies would be offering far bigger odds than they do (as they aren't biased you like and your Man Utd. buddies here).

  10. Mj - you are speaking my langauge. I 100% agree with you, so overrated. They need to seriously get over the past and get with the future and the reality is they aren't going to be challenging for the PL this year despite some people's crazy views

  11. Its strange isnt it. They always seem to buy UEFA cup quality players. Never giant names that are incredibly proven that get everyone talking (apart from Torres). They don't have wide men that are that great, and apparently they want to sign James Milner, again another player like Jermaine Pennant thats really not as great as the few games he shines in. Barry is going to stay at Villa now, hes a big name but they didn't need him. Right and left backs are positions that Liverpool should really invest in as well. Why didn't they compete with Barca for Dani Alves, the best right back in Europe? The simple answer is they can't be bothered to buy proven quality big name players, and they won't be a dominant force for the Premiership title for a good while yet.

  12. no i dont think so, definitely in the top 4 best still

  13. Maybe Torres and Keane can turn around their fortunes this time on.

  14. You've got the same idea as me mate!

As I always say theres always a big 3 (Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd). Liverpool have never been up there, they always come 3rd, 4th or in which I liked 5th.

As you said they buy 8-10 players and they never have coincidence within their team, they always have a different full back every year aswell as Strikers. Can never find the right balance. The weekend against Middlesbrough and tonight just proved how overrated they are.

In my case, if they need a new manager someone who doesn't change the squad over and over. Also someone who doesn't always have Champions League their main priorty.

  15. Is ice cold?

  16. i am a milan fan and i hate liverpool but i must say that no matter how bad they are doing in the league they are always capable of doing something in the champs league.
