  1. If you're a woman between 20 and 60, and need a handy guy around the boat, call me!  It's a great idea and I'm ready!

  2. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!

    I WANNA DO THAT..TOO!

  3. Cruised for 10yrs Sailing the Caribbean From Florida it's a great experience not always fun as the weather does have it's moments? Know have a 48' Sport fish this is fun> But $$$

    S&H

  4. If it is what you really want to do, then it sure is.

Having good driving experience would be key though. Driving boats can be difficult (as I am sure you know), so make sure you get out and practice and learn about how to handle tough situations.

But, all in all, I would say that it is an excellent idea if it is something you are very passionate about.

  5. I lived aboard my boat for 5 years, but for some stupid reason didn't travel on it (lack of funds being that stupid reason). but as I'm about to begin building another larger boat I know what I'll be doing..

and yes it's a good idea if you have the opportunity to do it. Even if you don't travel as such it's a great lifestyle, just don't try living on anything less that 9 meters long and at least 6 foot headroom is a must

  6. If that what your heart says then follow it, man.

  7. It depends on who you are, your health, attitude, and reason for doing it... not to mention... your boating experience.  An excellant alternative - that will give you (almost) the same but safer experience... is living onboard and cruising America's Great Loop... that's over 6,000 miles - mostly within a stones throw from land, mostly in cell phone range, and with safe sheltered anchorage every night... never far from car rental or airports... check it out! Just search on "Great Loop" or if you like, go to www.boatwrights.org for map, pics, and info.

  8. I do that as a job. Almost everyone says, "Wow, that sounds great", but most can't take it after a few weeks. being away from everything, in a confined space, and seeing nothing but water for days and days is much, much harder than one might think.

  9. Sounds good to me, do you need a first mate?

  10. yes

    is this a trick question?
