  1. England and London as a place is pretty old all over, but various buildings and stuff are being replaced all the time, so you get bits like the Tower of London (about 7-800 years old in places I guess), next to bits of the Roman wall (about 2,000 years old) and half a mile up the road is the Gherkin - 30 St Mary Axe - (about 5 years old and totally different).

So yes, London is Old England, but we still live in it!

  2. Colchester is the oldest city in England

  3. Well, it certainly ain't in New England.

  4. Every part of England is the same age

  5. Yes, the roman part of London (what is now known as "The City") is over 2000 years old...

  6. I would guess that you are either under 5 years old, or you have special needs. So we will forgive the jaw-dropping degree of ignorance on display here.

  7. London is in England. And England is old...so yes

  8. London city is in the provence of London, which is in old england.

  9. well virtually every place in england is extremely old

    except newtowns like milton keines

and london itself is a city that is over 2000 years old
