  1. Species7... needs his facts right & it is a another blu-ray fan-boy. Just like Micheal Bay. Anyways, "New Line" is with HD-DVD & not with Blu-ray anymore. I do not know why. The Lords of the Rings is already out on HD-DVD in Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-Trilogy...


  2. New Line has said that on new releases, Blu will come out first and HD will be delayed due to no region coding on HD (which is really poor decision IMO) and for catalog titles (such as LOTR) they will come out on Blu and HD at the same time.
