Is love at first sight for real?

What did you feel in your little heart when you first met the person you fell in love with?

It can be.  Some people already have such a clear picture of the person they are waiting for, they "recognize" that person.  That doesn't mean they should run out and get married....everyone should get to know the other person totally, before they make any commitments.  How a person "seems" may not be the real thing.

All kidding aside...the "sight" of someone is exactly what you fall for when you first see someone.  Anyone who says otherwise is a blatant liar.  However, as time goes on, the lust fades and it's the inner person that you get to know that turns the lust into love.

I think you can have a serious crush at first sight, or lust, and it can easliy be confused with love...

but I think you will often find your feelings change as you get to know a person better...  

its a nice rush (the love at first sight feeling) but it fades over time.

There is really no such thing as love at first sight, that feeling you can get when you first spot someone is just attraction. True love only comes from getting to know someone intimately and with trust. You need to be able to accept all the persons faults and know that they accept yours before you can actually love someone.

i don't think so because the only thing you could possibly know about a person you've never met is the physical attraction you feel towards them. i think you could fall in love with the way a person looks, then the "feeling builds" as you get to know them better.

well some may say its not true because they haven't experienced it yet, you can only speak of the things you've been through.

Love is an emotion, its a feeling and a decision. Its not a fools game that by seeing someone we fall in love. Emotion and feelings develops with time. When we know the person close to us we build a Trust in our relationship. Its not a matter of days. Many months and sometimes years has to be invested in getting true love. Its a decision because when we decide and sure us that this is the right person to live with for the whole life we take a decision. We give everything whatever we are having ie. our world [Priceless]. So its not a first sight thing. If you want true love be prepare to wait for days, months and years. Its only once in a lifetime.
