  1. No, but it is worth living for.

  2. The Zen Answer would be , "Maybe..."

All coins have two sides, and, if one counts the edge, three sides.

One may choose to die for others whom that one loves unconditionally so as to promote their welfare and well being, so as to benenfit them and all others and so as to call them to "awakening".

One may choose to follow an idealized, "romantic" though misguided notion as to what love is and thereby throw ones life away only to find that one is not the star of a Hollywood movie....

Yin/Yang, yes/no...equals maybe and it's determined by ones understanding of ones actions and whether or not the same will be of benefit to ones self and to all others or not.

    Be well.

  3. No way, but it is worth living for!

  4. Yes and No. There are 2 people in this world (my children) that I would not hesitate, without a single doubt (or second to think about it) to die if it was between me living and them. The love I have for them transcends to a higher love then I have for myself.

Now, if someone is going to die just for the sake of an expression of how much you love someone, I feel that is ignorant and no, it's not worth it. Why die for the expression of love when you could live and express more than if you were gone?

  5. plain and simple : yes

  6. Hmm? Are you asking:  Would you die for the one you love if by your death you could avert his or her death or extreme suffering?

The answer is, yes.  Only,  those of us who fall in love don't consider the possibility that maybe we will be called upon to give our life for those we love.

  7. Indeed yes, for me it has happened on 3 occasions. Each time I collected a rather handsome insurance payout.

  8. To sacrifice your life to save another is the ultimate expression of love, but to die just for loves sake, is wasting life.

  9. only if the love u receive is as strong as the love u give

  10. In my view, nothing at all is worth dying for...... just ask anyone who has lost a near and dear one recently.

  11. Yes.

  12. How it can be ? you are asking its worth and comparing it with death love exists and death co-exists, if one happens the other will also be gone. .how it can be worthy when it is no more.
