  2. Nope.. Rite Aid is more in line with Walgreen's, whereas Lucky's is more in line with Raley's, etc.

    Rite Aid is a national drug store chain (which bought out beloved Payless and Thrifty in the 90's), and Lucky's was a regional supermarket chain based in San Leandro, but then bought out by Albertsons (based in Boise, ID for the longest time) in the late 90's. Ultimately, was bought out by SuperValu (based in Minnesota) a couple years ago and nearly all Albertsons in Northern California and some other places were sold or closed up. However, the Lucky's name and logo has popped up again in some points of the Bay Area.
