  1. derrick rose is going to be like the jason kid player for the bulls like make grodn and deng have open shots his going to make all them better deng  is a role player its going to be rose team

  2. no hes not , he kinda was these past 2-3 years, he and ben gordon were basically our team,

  3. Deng is not a franchise player.  His contract is similar to other "above-average" players in the NBA.  Franchise players sign BIG deals like KG, Kobe and Duncan.

Players like Rashard Lewis, Kirilenko and Zach Randolph make more than Deng so the Bulls can STILL get a franchise caliber player with Deng aboard.

It is the hopes of the Bulls org. that Rose will help them in the future.  I think he could.  If he is anything close to CP3 or Deron, then the payoff should be big for the team.  People shouldn't expect too much from him too soon.  Remember, Deron started the season coming off the bench, eventually moved into the role of starting point guard, and was later sent back to the bench. Deron finished his rookie season averaging 10.8 points and 4.5 assists per game, in 80 games played but is a top 5 PG in the league today imo.

  4. I wouldn't call Luol Deng a franchise player. He's a role player. The bulls play as a team, they really don't have one guy that will light it up for 30 every night.

Yes Derrick Rose will help them in the future, his rookie numbers probably won't be all that impressive. But I can see him getting 12 points 5 assists this year.

  5. Luol Deng is not the Bulls franchise player. The Bulls have lacked of such players the moment Michael Jordan told the press he was retiring the second time and after losing Scottie Pippen to free agency in the summer of 1998. They lost another cornerstone by the name of Elton Brand after trading him for Tyson Chandler.

Luol Deng is primarily an offensive threat that the Bulls tried to hold on because of his continued development. Deng is not yet in the mold of a franchise player but is a great asset for the team.

As for Derrick Rose, he will eventually help though his rookie season won't be as significant as scouts pictured him to be. As I keep saying Beasley is the most NBA ready of this years draft. Derrick is another good chip but don't expect too much. The Bulls traded now for the future. Expect Derrick's impact two to three years from now.

    Hope this helps.

  6. not really and yes are the answers

  7. Derrick Rose will definitely help the Bulls not just in the future but of their immediate help. I kinda look or see him as better than their current PG Kirk Hinrich. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Captain Kirk but it's just that he is somewhat inconsistent. Not the type of PG i would love to run the show for my team esp. with his current age that should be playing fluidly right now.

As for Luol Deng being the franchise player of the Bulls, yes. Why? $80M contract for a guy? this guy? That alone made him the franchise/the future of this team. They invested a lot on him and would definitely want their investment come in fruitition.
