Is lyrical dance hard?

Hey! Well I was just wondering if lyrical is hard. I heard its a combination of ballet and jazz. I've been taking jazz for about 4 years but I've never taken ballet before so I was wondering if it would be difficult. Well leave your answers below =D and thank you sooo much!

I am starting lyrical this year too, but I have been dancing ballet for 11 years, and jazz for 5 years, so I think I'll adapt. I would recommend taking a ballet class alongside, as my studio requires this. I would assume this would be helpful....good luck! :)

Lyrical is actually a combination of ballet, jazz and modern. It's not very hard, especially if you've been taking other dance classes before. Just don't sign up for the super advanced classes and you'll be fine. Depending on the teacher, you might get jazzy, ballet-ey or moderny combinations.
