  1. no they both r completely different u can check by downloading a transformation  pack

  2. Mac OS X has many similarities and differences to windows.  Mac OS X is based on BSD Unix (it runs it internally) but it has a GUI to make it easy to use.  The main application "Finder" is different but can be similar to "My Computer" on Windows.   Many Applications for Mac OS have PC counterparts, like Firefox, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, etc.   However, there are some differences like iMovie, iChat, etc that are specific to mac.  If you know Windows well, Mac OS X will not be a huge learning curve.

  3. No, totally different. In my opinion much more difficult to use (even more than Slackware).

  4. No, mac os is a lot worse than windows.

  5. No not at all windows u will find very user-friendly where mac is not that easy to use u must have an complete knowledge about it then only u can use it

  6. No, it look and feels very different, in my view more difficult and simplified too much but I am someone who could dance on any computer interface within 5 minutes.

  7. I think there is no much difference.

  8. sadly no hahaha

Mac OS X is based on the Mach kernel and is derived from the Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD) implementation of Unix in Nextstep

Mac OS X's core is a Unix operating system (OS) built on top of the XNU kernel, with standard Unix facilities available from the command line interface

while Microsoft Windows has a total different story
