  1. no, because, sorry to say, most engineering applications are designed to run only on a PC.

    Of course, you could run the mac as a PC using the software that apple and other parties supply, but then why bother, just get a PC.

    you will find nearly no engineering applications available for MACs

    i think mac is best for graphics and animators design/work
