Is magazine helpful to SAT?

Is National Geographic helpful to SAT Critical Reading section? Is National Geographic easier than SAT?

Any reading is beneficial, but I suggest the College Board Official SAT Study Guide. It has reading passages and questions that closely reflect what you will find on the real SAT.
