I am very interested in Russia, the culture, and the language.

I know for sure i want to major in a foreign in language at college..

I was thinking about Russian since i am so interested in it...but i am really hesitant about it because i think it would be very difficult to learn a new alphabet, and Russia is supposedly really hard to learn.

i am not fluent in any other language besides english, although i know a medium amount of swedish, and some French.

please dont tell me to study other languages, thats not my question.

my question is, would majoring in Russian be very very hard.

You know, it's the same for me with German, 'cause I want to be very fluent so also during summer I continue to learn it...And maybe it's strange but I'm happy about this my decision.

Russia isn't so hard to understand, but yes, the language is!!

If you begin with alphabet after a little while you'll be able to read the pronunciation of the most words, and after that to understand it.

I live in Italy and my Italian is very good, my scores are allways perfect...it wasn't very easy at first but now I really see that when -you really want something and you do everything for it, you'll obtain it-! ;-D

    Let me know!

and, yeah, sorry my Englesh gramm xD
