I was moving at a slow speed and made a right turn at the corner very tight onto the right side of the road.

  1. Yes. ATVs are classified as vehicles (most states require registration in order to drive on public property), and as such, must obey traffic signals. Just as if you were in a car, you must come to a full and complete stop before turning.

  2. Yes, stop means a full stop and what were you doing on the road with a ATV ???

  3. You must stop 3-seconds before approaching stop sign.

After you completely pulled over, and check both ways even at one-way just in case if you see pedestrian coming, then turn right when you don't see cars or pedestrian.

Even with sign that says, RIGHT TURN PERMITTED AFTER STOP."

  4. Let me explain it to you this way, if I take a baseball bat and begin smacking you around with it, would you want me to STOP or just slow down??? Stop signs mean you STOP always. You were reckless and could have caused an accident with severe injuries. Wake up and be more careful.

  5. stop is pretty strait forward if you dont understand the meaning of stop maybe you shouldnt have a drivers liscense

  6. Stop means Stop. But for those people who say it is illegal to drive an ATV on a public road - not everyone lives where you do :  there are places it is legal !

  7. ATV's arent street legal in the first place. Doesn't matter if you blew the stop or not-you're not supposed to be operating on public roads.

  8. I think the point of a stop sign is to STOP.
