Absolutely! Unless you buy something of course. But its a great way to organize music, even if you don't have an iPod to put it on.

Yes. You only get charged if you buy things.

Yes. They only charge your card if you make a purchase. I have had an Itunes account for 2 years and have been charged a grand total of 99 cents (I bought one song.) The only reason you have to enter your credit card is so that when you do make a purchase, they know how to charge you. Just make sure you turn off the 1 click buy option. Many people have inadvertently bought songs because they turned off the purchase notificationn. You wouldn't want a bill just because your settings are wrong.

It's free to make the account.  The only time you will pay anything is when you buy something from them.

Yes. Infact you don't even need a credit card to purchase music. You can get a itunes gift card. Also when creating an account you are then accessed to downloading podcasts, free songs and other great things.

yes, it's free you just need  credit card information to be able to purchase music or video from itunes.

Yes, it's free. It just asks for a credit card number so if you buy any songs on itunes it will charge the card, unless you have an itunes giftcard.
