  1. Yes/No, its easy for some, impossible for others.  Here's a link to see if you can do this.

  2. Well if you want to make bio diesel which is different then useing it in a SVO system, you need to filter the oil and heat it to about 120 degrees, to prevent the oil from getting thick or lumpy. then mix in lye (sodium hydroxide) and methanol to start the transesterification. you should get bio diesel on top and glycerin on bottom. this is just a quick overview you should go to http://www.biodieselmake.com/ it gives a better set of instructions. I make it using used cooking oil, but almost any form of organic oil will work. as for any modifications if you are using Bio diesel and not a SVO ( straight vegetable oil) then you most likely do not need to modify your vehicle. But Biodiesel.org will be able to help you know for sure.

  3. It's not particularly difficult, but it does involve the use of some moderately dangerous chemicals (NaOH and CH3OH).  Technique is important, and the process is relatively slow so patience is also advised.

  4. U don't make it ,the plants has already done that. U must collect it and filter it so it can be used in a diesel.

  5. I don't like storing the chemicals. So I modify the engine to burn wvo/svo.

  6. If you want to make biodiesel, check out http://biodiesel.usfarmauctions.com/

There are links to the biodiesel equipment you need to buy and links to articles and ebooks on how to make biodiesel.

  7. I found a chart at this link that explains the process:

I also found this link helpful with a few different methods for making it.
