I don't want ranters and ravers to respond. I want your opinions, and facts, whenever possible. I don't know the answer and feel that we're so young and the earths so old surely it would take more than man to do this.

  1. Just ask yourself if it took Chernobyl a few seconds to destroy a big chunk of Russia how long would it take us to make this planet unihabitable. Our planet is fragile.

  2. The Earth is doing what it always does exacerbated by mankind....

  3. You are quite right.Man has no control over Nature. As I have said before...what was man doing to cause the Ice age?

  4. It's the same cycle the earth has always gone through. Not that we shouldn't be careful about use of resources and pollution, but it's not the cause of a .7 increase in temperature over the last 100 years.

  5. The Earth would be warming, yes, but quite more slowly if Man didn't destroy everything. There have already been climate crises (changes of temperatures, disappearance of species, etc) in the past (about 6 or maybe 7) but Man is accelerating the next one!!!

(Sorry for mistakes if there are some, I'm French.)

  6. yes  mankind really the problem, but not all of them

  7. If your talking about global warming... then yes... its what the earth does... it's a cycle... as in the prehistoric age this happened.. its what partially helped wiped out the dinosaurs... although.. thats what my teadher says... but i beleive it because some animals survived the "meteor" if there is one... so yes its just a cycle.....

  8. just the way of the world i reckon

  9. Before man came on the earth, when it was just animals the earth was fine, and this is because man has destroyed the earth because of the production of CO2 emissions, as man built power plants and factories etc which causes the CO2 emissions in the air.
