Yes and they did the right thing. Manny's games are played out in Boston. Plus they still got Jason Bay in another trade and he will be a great addition to Boston. Manny is a free agent after the year and you might as well get something for him now while you can. We did the same thing here in Detroit. We traded Pudge to the Yanks for a decent middle reliever. Just like Pudge, Manny's good days are now behind him and you have to start turning over your lineup when you can...other wise you turn into the Yankees with a ton of over 35 year olds who are past their prime...
