while he has only made about $200k this year (but, add in about $400k for reaching the semi-final at wimbledon), lifetime he's made over $13 million - just for playing tennis... never mind the endorsements. so, i think he can pretty much afford whatever he wants, including travel to matches and any coach he would like to work with.  it's so great to see him in top form again!!!

Having a coach is actually not a good idea. Safin has one, but its a waste of money. Sponsors' money is wasted on it. He is not really a good team member. He should consider joining a better company like  www.freewebs.com/framewinnertennis .
