I am thinking of traveling in late march 2008 and staying in a upscale (Sheraton-like) resort.

  1. Cancun Will be a very interesting time!

Filled with spring breakers im sure even if your staying at a up scale place.

There are rich College kids too

    all arnt broke.

    Good Luck

  2. I don't know what could "worry" you about it (crowds? safety? morals?), but yeah, there will be a lot of them in Cancun.... it's their favorite spot. As they said, you can try to stay at a very expensive resort (Sheraton isn't THAT expensive) and maybe if it's on the lagoon it's better than if it's on the beach... and then it might not be as crowded by youngsters. But the streets and night clubs will be. If you're not planning to go out of the resort, fine.... but as they said, prices might be higher in general because of the season. Maybe staying at the Mayan Riviera would be a better idea.... Cancun isn't that great anyway..... good luck.

  3. You should be ok as along as the resort is upscale because spring breakers can't aford that. I stayed at Dreams Cancun when I went to Cancun and it was really nice and relaxing. I don't think Spring Breakers stay there.

  4. YES it will be very crowded!!!! And prices will be higher. Maybe not a good idea too go during this time if you are taking young kids, how about a couple of days in Cozumel instead of staying in Cancun the whole time?

  5. hahahaha.....yeah that would be a bad idea just look for a resort that is higher priced and private.....you stay somewhere cheap I know it will be full with drunk teenagers

  6. If you could hold out until after spring break, it will be a better vacation. We were there the beginning of May and it was very nice and the prices where a bit cheaper. Staying at a upscale resort does help but still you would be going prime time. Think..crowds....more expensive....

    good luck)
