Is marching band fun after band camp?

Tomorrow is my last day of band camp.... But I'm worried that things will change after monday comes around for the first day of school.

of course it's fun! you get to perform what you worked on at band camp at football games!

goodness yes!

band camp is usually what scares people away.

youll have tons of fun with football games. especially away games, because youll get to hang out with all your band buddies on the bus. i know that the bus rides are ALWAYS my favorite.

plus, youll have compititions where you get to meet new people from different schools.

my time in band...ive realized that a lot of my real friends are in band. because you stick with those people throughout high school and my other friends who arent in band, some of them get mixed up with the wrong people and change...a lot.

you make GREAT friends in band, and your going to have a BLAST!

band..for me at least..is soo much better after band camp!

I don't think we can really decide that. It's more about your band teacher, if the drum major is an ***, and the people in your band.

Yea its fun i am in the number 1 marching band in Oregon and we have 9 hour day practices every day for 2 weeks for band camp so its tough but yes that is why people do marching band; for after camp. It is extremely fun.

In my opinion band camp is the worst part of marching.  Afterwards you get to have one hour practices and practices at night when it's cool. Plus all of the tournaments and football games are a blast! You just wait and see, by the end of the semester you're going to wish it would never end!

I always thought it was just as fun after returning to school. I was the drum major and got to leave my last class early to get the field ready for practice. Football games were amazing. I loved getting to wear my uniform and having all eyes to my band!! Good luck!!
