  1. Yes, in some areas it is legal for medical purposes.  That makes it a controlled substance.


  2. In the US it is.

    Federal law has it as a Schedule I substance, which means it has no "medical value".

    But several states have medical marijuana programs, which basically operate against federal law.

    But if you have a license for medical marijuana in a state that has a program you shouldn't have to worry about the federal government cracking down on you, you aren't worth their time.

  3. It is under Federal Law, which does not care if it is allowed by the states.  (Medical MJ).  The Fed only goes after the big sellers, and that is the med mj distribution centers.  You cannot get around the Fed on this.
