in the us i mean....is the government ever going to make it legal? are people fighting for it?

No, but it should be. The government successfully brainwashed masses of people to think getting drunk every weekend is a-okay but puffing a little weed will lead you to a life of a heroin junkie.

probably not, which is too bad too. you know i like to toke up every once in a while i think it is good for the earth, i wouldnt mind paying a few bucks in tax to purchace it legally, but the poloticians just cant get through their skull. so yeah while im not for legalizing all drugs i do think pot and a few others could be legalized without too much harm to the usa. drunk driving kills tons of innocent people each year, but that will remain legal forever. the states could make money off of it and create a new biz for people. but yet it is still illegal, will it change anytime soon probably not, will i continue to smoke, yeah

I hope so, but I doubt it. The people who hope it doesn't have either a) never tried it , and or don't know the facts. I really wish it was legal..check out NORML , they are a big movement giving it a go =)
