it isn't dried out? If I were to walk up to a plant that is still in the ground and just start munching on the leaves/bud, would it have the same effects as if I were to eat some dried out and prepared bud?

I understand the difference between smoking marijuana and ingesting it by eating it, I just want to know if it is totally necessary, and if it effects the potency of the plant when it isn't dried out.

  1. It has to be cooked in order to activate the thc, that is why people make brownies........look up the recepie.

It isn't good for your brain to use marijuana but if you are you are way better off eating it than smoking it.....it also lasts longer when you eat it.     Everyone knows that smoking is bad for you and weed is much worse that tobacco.  BE  CAREFUL...many people eat way too much and get crazy....you can check out the crazy off duty cop that was overdosing on weed from brownies....he called 911...it is on youtube.you won't die but it would not be pleasant for sure.

  2. You'd be unable to smoke it if the plant was still wet and wasn't dry. I mean take a piece of wet grass and hold a lighter to it, no matter what your not going to burn the grass.

  3. if you were to cook with it when it was wet you could get high but just eating the bud off a plant wont do a thing marijuana has to be mixed with lipids(butter) or alcohol to be orally active

  4. i hear smoking it is fast acting and that eating is slower acting.but same effect.

  5. nope- it has to be dried out in order to smoke it or heat it up.  you need WAY more pot to get high off of brownies vs. smoking, and the high feels different, aswell.  also, thc is what gets you high, and it HAS to be heated in order to make you high.  that's why you smoke it or heat it in the butter you put in brownies.
