Its the most difficult basic/boot camps out of all the branches but it is not extremely difficult..

Its just not for everyone..Thousands make it every year..All you need is heart and you have to want it..

Just because you dont choose the USMC does not mean your any less of a person..The USMC is not for everyone the samre way college is not for everyone..

Difficult, yes, impossible, no, challenging, yes, rewarding , very....

it was 13 weeks of grueling training!, my husband said it was difficult, but if you push thru the pain and have the heart you will do just fine!

The Marine Corps has the most difficult enlisted and officer basic training of any service.  Boot Camp (enlisted basic training) is not necessarily overly physically difficult, although hundreds of recruits fail to meet the physical standards and are sent to medical and physical recovery platoons.  It is capped off with the Crucible, a 52-mile physical and mental test over three days with less than 6 total hours of sleep.

Officer Candidates' School (officer basic training) is a physical ball-buster.  The six-week course has boots and utilities runs often 6 days a week, and humps working up to 12 miles.  Sleep deprivation is also an issue, and candidates face strict mental, moral, and physical screening standards.  Even with the Marine Corps' current force increase goals, the attrition rate of all OCS classes is well above 25%.  Attrition of female OCS platoons is frequently over 50%.

its a 19 week boot camp and the army's is only 12 weeks

and during this 19 week period u will go to h**l in back

and i can wait
