  1. You are looking at about $80 admission for two adults (all rides are included).  If you like whales there are 2 different coves to watch them and you can touch them (for an extra fee).  Last time I was there, there was no dolphin exhibit, although they are in the shows.  They are doing a large expansion but I don't think it will be ready for this year.

There are bears, buffalo, a huge deer exhibit and other animals.  You can feed all of them but there is an extra cost for the food.

For food, you can bring your own into the picnic area.  We always took a wagon with us for the kids and we kept a small cooler with us for drinks.  You can refill water bottles at water fountains around the park.

It is expensive but my kids loved it so we have been back a few times.  It's not an experience you can get every day.  It won't take a whole day to do.  Even with kids we had done everything between 10 and 4.

  2. Don't go. This was reported a few years back and I'm sure they're better now BUT...they were sited with poor animal welfare. They weren't taking care of their animals. Don't go to any place that keeps a whale locked up in a tank, it's inhumane!

  3. Marineland is Really expensive to get in, LOTS of walking. Alot of people don't like the conditions the animals are kept in-it's not that they're terrible, but the frigging place is HUGE, and enclusures are smaller than they could be. It's a waste of money unless you have some kids that want to see whales, buffale, deer, dolphins, etc.

  4. As an ex resident of Niagara Falls, who was born and raised there, my advice would be to SKIP IT! Huge waste of money, not much there. The whale show is good, but the rides are minimal, food is expensive, no money back on a rain date. Last time I was there, about 7 years ago, it cost myself, and my two children, ages 1 and 2, close two a hundred dollars just for the day. Much better things to see and do in the Falls than Marineland. Go to the Cirque de Soliel, or one of the many shows at the Casinos instead.

  5. Marineland is just ok.  I get sad seeing the conditions the animals live in. The whales are cool to see.  And at first their tanks seem huge ... then you compare it to their size & natural habitat and realize they are equivalent to a human in a normal swimming pool

There is one roller coaster, 6-8 rides for young kids, and 6-8 rides for older kids - adults.

I would not put it at the top of my list of things to do in Niagara Falls
