Is mascara bad for your eyelashes in the long run? Any good mascara products?

Do you recommend any brands that condition and strengthen eyelashes as time goes on?

I know, from exp that wearing mascara and not removing it at night will be very harmful!

Most mascaras will have a petroleum product that prevents the growth in the follicle. Thus, over time your eyelashes wont be as thick and lush.

I use only organic makup now, from a health food store....yes the colours are limited and they have a price tag that is more than the drug stores...but its worth it in the end!

No, it isn't if you use it right. Almost EVERYTHING is bad for you if you don't use it right. As long as you make sure you absolutely do not sleep with mascara on. Your eyelashes are delicate and sometimes all that mascara and weight them down and wear them out.

A good thing to do would be to use less mascara and not cake it on, or use a gentle or light mascara.
