Is masturbation a bad thing if your a Christian an out of marriage???? if so why ???

I would think that it would be better then having s*x with someone. But some christians feel that it's bad. I guess it's up to everyone to decide for themselves

I am a Christian and doing that and not being married is not a problem.  God understand we have physical needs and He is OK with that as long as you don't involve another person.  He would have a problem with fornication.

Of course, you will get all kinds of answers because it is an individual choice as to if you are uncomfortable touching yourself...then you have to fight off Grandma's warnings of going blind if you play with that thing too much. In the real world, leaving religion out of it, you have had s*x and you enjoy it and the physical side of it--the release and all. Now, you are single again, what do you do with the habit. You take care of it yourself. You know Grandma's rumors were false cause you still have vision. Now, if you are comfortable touching yourself alone or in front of another, I think it is ok. You don't involve anyone else when masturbating--no sin there. God knows exactly how he made you, habits and all. Who better to understand your weakness to have sexual satisfaction than Him. As a Christian, I have seen scripture on not fornicating--s*x without benefit of marriage; however, I have yet to see or hear anyone speak of a scripture that speaks against masturbation. Pastors and Priest and Rabbis will try to talk you out of it and say it is sinful; however, none will be able to produce a supporting scripture. The bottom line is search the scriptures for yourself or any book that you choose to believe is the teachings of God.  Then pray about it and if you are comfortable -- Do your own thing. If not, do not.
