We use the decimal system because we have 10 fingers.

We can use any base number, but all of these are invented by humans.

Real objects, ideas, or concepts don't number themselves.

More useful than some. Learn all you can.

They exist whether humans understand them or not. So they're very real indeed. The puzzles are human inventions, but the laws and numbers and concepts are very real.
