Can science and technology do without mathematics? Can they ever be completely divorced?

  3. Well, mathematics are essential in science and technology, because math has the subject which involve numbers, fractions, etc. In science you use math when doing an experiment. For example, HOW MANY LIGHT YEARS IS TO OUR NEAREST STAR, which is the ANDROMEDA GALAXY. This would consider a math .Also technology, math is use to create CARS, and plus Video Games, and TV Shows. Thinlk about . They can NEVER be divorced, if u disagree ask someone else.

  4. Well to know how fast something is going, you need to figure out the distance the object is traveling and how much time.  Math dictates how fast that object is moving.  That is one of million, BILLIONS of examples.

    Doing math let's us know how thick a pressure tank needs to be to store a certain pressure of gas or liquid.

    Math tells us how fast a satellite needs to travel to keep it up in orbit.

    Even on the keyboard we are using to type these questions.  Mow much plastic we need to make the keyboards by knowing length, width, and depth.

    Even on the speakers of the computer.  How much sound is calculated by how much power and what frequency to send through the speakers.

    Even in our computers, they calculate numerous times a second.  And those calculated numbers comes out as pictures for photoshop and wallpaper for computers.

    And as I said, there are millions, BILLIONS more examples in real life.
