No, I would have to say that d**k Trickle is the worst driver ever to win a championship.  (You didn't specify NASCAR)

In all seriousness, though, Matt Kenseth is a great driver.  Sometimes he has bad luck, but, as long as there has been a Chase for the Cup, he's been in it, and that's gotta count for something.

Also, why would Carl knockout a clown?  Unless it was by accident and he backflipped him in the face.  If you're talking about the minor spat last season, that happens.  I was mad at Carl for about, oh, a week.  And I think Matt was angry less than that.  Roush drivers have class.  Perhaps you should learn some.

Mark Martin said he was the most underrated driver out there, and that's enough for me.

And uh, no, Jeff Gordon didn't "teach him a lesson." He pushed him a little. I don't think Matt is still trembling in fear or anything.

I'm not a Kenseth fan, but I don't think he is the worst driver to win a championship.  He's been relatively inconsistent earlier in the year, but overall, he's a solid driver.

Why is "he wrecks everyone" or "he's a whiner" the only 2 reasons people can ever find to hate a driver?

David Ragan wrecked more people last year.  Who has Kenseth wrecked?  Kenseth is one of the most consistent drivers in the Cup series.  Not to mention he's come from not even making the Chase, to having a great shot to make it.  Do you have any idea what you're talking about?

Definitely not the worst.  In fact, his skill and consistency is the reason the cup series has the stupid chase format anyway.  NASCAR didn't like the way he won his last title by being a good finisher week in and week out so they helped mess up the sport by creating this debacle.

Matt does not wreck other people. If he does, it is accidental. He was always the kind of driver that keeps his cool and apologizes to those drivers. and he has made the Chase every year and this year, he was like 20th in points and made his way into 12th in less than 7 races.

and whoever said he will lose his ride after 2010 is the stupidest person on this site. He was the driver that got Roush his first championship. Roush wouldn't think once about getting rid of him. The driver that will lose his ride is most likely Jamie McMurray.

Matt Kenseth is one of the best drivers out there. He may not win a lot but he is very consistent. He has made the chase every year against the best drivers in the world. Do you call that luck.  He came close to winning the championship last year.  You can think what you want.  Back in 2003, he accumulated a 435 point lead on 2nd place. It takes a good driver to do that. He has never done anything to make people dislike him. The only thing i can come up with is he beat dale jr for rookie of the year and got a championship first. And ailayah, do you honestly think a cup champion, and a former iroc champion who has been in the chase every year would lose there ride?

I would say a driver that consistently makes it into the chase each year since the chase has began, is not the "worst" at anything.
