  1. No,i really don't believe it is.Vegetarians and Vegans{as long as they eat well}are far healthier than their meat eating counterparts.Your question is a little bizarre, though i suppose it's similar to people who believe that their child can be effected by the emotional state one was in at conception. I think even if it were possible, there would be no overall benefits as meat is so bad to begin with,as shown by this lovely little quote from George Bernard Shaw,'Think of the fierce energy in an acorn, bury it in the ground and it will explode into a tree,if you bury a sheep nothing will happen but decay'.

  2. think about it.do you really want rotting flesh in your intestines?do you really think animals should have to suffer so humans can eat?i guess my answer would be NO!

  3. Meat contains Protein and Iron. Those are about the only things of value in meat. However, plants also contain protein (Healthier more potent protein). And Iron, you can get with supplements or fortified drinks. I can only state good things about plant based diets.... I can go on forever about the bad things in meat based diets. What does that tell you?

Sure, the meat and dairy industries would have you not believe this. But guess what, it's an industry. A horrible, cruel, unhealthy cancerous industry... And shareholders want returns$$$...

  4. Meat isn't good for you period. Not because of the adrenaline but because it's fattening and it clogs your arteries. Vegetables and fruits will always be healthier then dead carcass.

  5. Red meat is known to contribute to cancer and heart disease.

Meat can be healthy if eaten in moderation, but isn't necessary in order to live a healthy life.

Vegetarians and vegans who eat a properly balanced diet as just as healthy, or even healthier, than people who eat meat.

  6. yes it delicious and very nutritious.

  7. I think there are many food products which can be substituted for meat and provide adequate nutrition.  Man uses or rather misuses animals for unnecessary purposes  I am a vegan also.

  8. no

    it can cause:

    cancer

    stroke

    heart attack

    etc..

  9. It is well known that if an animal is stressed at the moment of death, the muscles tense and the meat

Also, don't forget that meat animals are pumped full of growth hormones, do you think that's healthy?

In my own case though, no. If I eat meat, it causes severe stomach cramping, nausea, constipation, ect ect...

Since giving up meat, I feel better, and I have more energy. I am also putting on weight... probably not a good thing :)

  10. Soy Better than Beef MYTH!

Myth: A soy burger is healthier than a beef burger

Here's the problem: Soy, in all its forms, contains phytoestrogens--that is, plant estrogens. And while having some of the female hormone in our bodies is okay, and even normal, having high amounts of the plant version isn't. In fact, Australian researchers found that men who consumed a soy-rich diet had significantly lower testosterone levels than beef eaters. And as for red meat's artery-clogging reputation, a study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition showed that eating lean beef can help to lower LDL cholesterol levels while increasing HDL levels.

Reality check: At only 10 percent fat, ground round is the leanest hamburger meat at the market. It also has the potential to taste the worst, since less fat generally means less flavor. Stick with ground chuck, which, with 15 percent fat, still qualifies as lean.
